Instead of waiting for costly new road pavings or marked bike routes, an L.A. based designer has proposed Better Bikeways, a system of effectively designed road signage that helps drivers be more aware of bikers, and encourages more commuters to bike instead of drive. Fast Company calls it a “Low Cost, High-Impact Solution” for an issue that all major metropolitan areas face.
